Coloc Tailor was established by Fong Wing Choy at Serangoon Road in 1952. The shop was known as Mee Wah Choy Kee Tailor until 1972 when it adopted its present name. The name, Coloc, was derived from a foreign language, meaning prosperity and happiness. It was selected to give the shop a new and progressive image. Since then, Coloc has established a name for itself and is today a thriving family business with five outlets located in various hotels throughout Singapore.

Our specialized trades are as follow:

• Exclusive men's and ladies' tailoring
• Ready-to-wear clothings and apparels
• Branded materials for men's and ladies' wears
• Personal advice on design, colour and cutting for customers

During these 56 years, we have been awarded membership from Singapore Tourist Promotion Board, Consumer Association of Singapore and Singapore Master Tailors' Association. Presently, Mr. Fong Wing Choy [pioneer] is still our Chairman.

• 1986 - now  - Singapore Marriott Hotel [ lobby shop]
• 1992 - now  - Raffles Hotel [shopping arcade]
